Time is always a problem. In my first book I talk about The Three Problems with writing, but ultimately Time is your biggest problem. There is never enough of it. I was once told by the writer Tom Holt that the only way you can write is to force yourself a time every day (yes even Christmas Day) Roald Dahl used to go write in his shed from 9-5 until the book was done. I mean it's hard I know, but if you do find a routine a 'ok Sunday between 1 and 3 is my writing time' it can work. For me? It was like asking a philosopher to come up with a new concept every week by 5pm friday... ain't gonna happen. Time! It's always time!

Indeed. And if you can have a regular time when you work, everyone else will get used to it too. Stick at it, and soon it won't even be an issue (fingers crossed)!
